G1 offers short print runs or framed canvasses with a variety of different options for collectors and the general public alike. G1 Covent garden is the first in England and is G1s Flagship store.

Based in Covent gardens market square, the shop is within a grade 2* listed building of special historic interest. Therefore the design needed to be both contemporary whilst being sympathetic to the building itself.

In order to get that uncomplicated contemporary/ historical harmony we white sprayed mdf to give us exactly the finish required. Also every unit was made bespoke to sit comfortably in its surroundings whilst housing the product with very little tolerance, giving a clean line to all the unitry. Lighting was also Key and a challenge in such as small space so we put in 3 lighting rafts on the ground floor which provided a great overall ambient light. We then highlighted the walls with metal halide track spots. Both Railston and the client were delighted with the final look.
