We can work alongside in-house designers, design agencies or architects offering support and value-engineering expertise
Concept and Design Brief Development
Railston have the capability to come up with the original design concept working closely with the client. Railston can also take an existing concept and work with in-house designers or design agencies to develop the brief and provide outline costs at a very early stage
Site Surveying and Space Planning
Railston will always survey a site prior to starting onsite, even if there is already an existing drawing package. Where drawings have not been created Railston will produce all layouts and elevations and will assist with space planning
Finishes and Sample Boards
Railston will provide samples of all finishes and materials that have been specified for a project. We will also recommend more economical materials or those on shorter lead times if required by the client
Statutory Submissions
Railston will produce drawings and plans for all applications and approvals that are required for the project and will co-ordinate the submission. This will usually involve planning and building control applications, CDM and health & safety notification, advertising consent and landlords approval
As Built Drawings
Following the completion of a site Railston will produce 'as built' drawings which form part of the health & safety file given to the client. These drawings will include all layouts and plans as well as more detail manufacturing drawings for any equipment that has been made
